Badly Needed a Massage

What’s up!! I’m back 🤣 I’m back with a very sore shoulder LOL Imma blame the cold and how I sleep (I sleep on my side and stays on the same spot every night) I don’t know where to start or what to write first. A lot had happened. They’re good news, don’t worry. Let’s see. Why don’t I start it with: WE FINALLY MOVED IN.

Not originally our plan because we were planning to move in after the wedding. But, we realized that we are actually going to pay for our mortgage and it’ll be a waste if we don’t live in the house so we decided to move in. The process was, and it still is, expensive and tiring. Everything hurts, including my pockets LOL Every time we talk about our spending, I always say that this is because we literally don’t have anything. We moved in to an empty house so we have to buy everything. We’re still in the process of organizing our stuff and definitely needs more storage (especially shelves and/or drawers for our clothes). Cleaning has been non-stop and we haven’t taken the empty boxes to the big trash a couple houses away from us (update: my dad came over this morning to take it to the recycling place)

Bullet is currently with my parents for now since there were a lot of tiny things he could swallow or chew or choke on. But, we are planning to move him in today since we already cleaned up most of it. YAY! I’m thinking that we should be buying those baby gates for him, because he might end up in the basement and I already saw one nail earlier. Not too sure if there’s more loitering around. My dad suggested to get a magnet thingy to check for more nails. The problem is I don’t have that LOL

Speaking of my parents—my mom actually cried the day we moved in. I made the mistake of asking her over dinner (we invited them over for a pizza and wings night) if she cried the night before. Then she suddenly teared up and grabbed the napkin and almost bawled her eyes out. My dad was close to crying but I know he was just stopping himself. I feel bad, but then I guess this is a good idea too, so that less tears will be shed on wedding day. Y’know what I mean? Anyway, while I was packing my stuff before moving in, I was crying too LOL

Since my parents and my fiancé’s parents are traditional, they advised us to move in in the middle of the night or early morning and to make sure we have salt, rice, sugar, and flowers before we officially move in. So we followed all that, 15th of December at 0200H was when we officially moved in. We were also told to throw money by the entrance before coming in. Then we say a small prayer in all the rooms. Then we lost the fucking key LOL We couldn’t find after we “bless” the house and my fiancé was telling me that he put it back to it’s spot outside then, he was like “oh, I’m pretty sure I put it in my pocket”. Now here’s the thing, he didn’t had a good sleep—prolly slept for 2 hours during the day because he did a 16 hours shift (from evening to nights). So I kept asking him if he’s sure he put it back to it’s spot or if I didn’t put it back when I was in the house to clean earlier on. Anyway, we spent prolly another 20 minutes looking for it before we called it quits. We decided to just buy the keypad lock thingy that morning since we’re not sure anymore where it was. To make long story short, he found the keys the next day in the driveway. He told me he stepped on it while he was on his way to his truck.

This is it for an update for now. Happy Holidays everyone! Stay safe 💋
