Free Week!

Term 2 already started and it’ll be our Christmas break in two weeks. Geez. I thought it’s only October or something—I didn’t realize it’s actually December already. My boyfriend’s birthday will be on next Saturday and I haven’t buy him any presents yet. He’s picky so I am not going to attempt to buy him anything to surprise him—I have to ask him or else he might not use or wear whatever I will be buying for him. And he already told me that if I want to give him something, I better ask him first.

Speaking of presents, I guess it is understandable if I am not going to buy anything for my godchildren, right? I mean, I am not working because I don’t think I can do part-time and study at the same time, therefore, I have no money. I already made it clear to my godchildren’s parents that I won’t be able to gift them for two years last Christmas, because I’ll be studying. Even my friends and my parents won’t be getting anything from me for Christmas—or I might get my parents something. Since I feel like it’d be too unfair that I am getting my boyfriend something (for his birthday and for Christmas) and I won’t get anything for my parents.

I requested a stethoscope as a present from my boyfriend as I cannot afford the one I like online. LOL. However, when I learned that we will be doing vital signs before our Christmas break, I had to ask him if he already got it for me so I can just buy it. He said yes, he’s going to get it for me—though we both hope that it’ll get delivered on time. If not, I’ll just borrow his hehe. Oh, and I got another present from him! We went to the city yesterday because he wanted to buy scrubs. Since I only have one course for the day, I went with him. We went to the mall after and we didn’t really plan to buy anything yesterday—not in our budget. We get into one of the shoe departments and I fell in love with this ankle boots as soon as we walked-in. I have small feet and I had doubts that the boots won’t fit me. I tried it on anyways, and tada! it fits! Just to make sure, though, I asked the saleslady if they have smaller size but if they don’t it’s fine—because I will be getting it anyway haha! She put an insole on one of the boots for me to compare what it feels like—I had a tiny little bit hard time deciding—whether to get it with insole or not. I decided not to, because I believe I still have insole back at home and I don’t really want to spend more, and the boots fits perfectly with or without the insole.

As I am getting ready to pay, my boyfriend initiated rock, paper and scissors—which we usually do when we decide on who’s going to pay—and I usually lose so I didn’t really pay attention and besides I will be paying it either way. But when I won, he pulled out his wallet and paid. The saleslady and I were both shock—then we end up explaining that it’s what we usually do to decide on who’s going to pay. We ate dinner then went home afterwards—we didn’t stay long because of the road condition and he still have to work for 12hrs the next day.

A day well spent indeed!
