ER Run + Busy Weekend + Vlog

So remember my fiancé’s family dog that’s stayed with us for 7 days? Well, here’s an update:

She didn’t warm up at all to my parents until Wednesday or Thursday. She would bark at my dad every time he comes downstairs, especially when I am at home. She was guarding me I guess because if I’m at work she doesn’t bark at my dad. She pretty much warmed up to my mom Sunday and does not bark at her. Then, when we thought all were good and everything’s smooth— came Saturday morning. She was lying basically beside me on the floor, when my dad came downstairs. She started barking at him when he was walking towards our kitchen. And while barking she ran to him and snipped at my dad’s right lower leg. There were 3 scratch—it wasn’t deep and it didn’t swell and no bruising around the area. Basically a very small “bite”. I was mad at her LOL I called my fiancé right away and told him of what happened and confirmed whether their dog was up-to-date with her rabies vaccine. When they confirmed that her vaccines were up-to-date, I tried not to get worried. Then I asked my dad whether his vaccines were up-to-date as well. When he said no, I told him we’re going to the ER to get his shots. So that was our Saturday morning.

That same weekend, I had a back-to-back event that I attended to. It was friend’s H‘s son’s dedication last Saturday and J‘s twins baptism last Sunday. It was also my first time meeting the twins. So glad that J looks so happy and that she’s getting support for taking care of the twins. It’s good to catch up with the people I used to hang out with when we were younger LOL and to meet new people. It just feels weird to see or attend gathering—restrictions were lifted so we were legally allowed to have gathering outside. It is definitely strange. Of course I made a vlog about it LOL more like a timelapse vlog. Check it out below:

Well, this is for now! Have a good week! Stay safe y’all!
