So we were supposed to go to Steep Rock today (Wednesday, May 27th) which is 2 and a half hour away from town. However, due to lack of research we found out as soon as we arrived, that the park and beach is still closed to the public. Fuck Covid.
We ended up going to Clear Lake instead lol. The one hour drive turned out 6 hours. The food that we were supposed to eat in Steep Rock were cold and not appetizing anymore. We still eat though because we were hungry and tired. Well, except for my boyfriend’s sister—she claimed she wasn’t hungry and she said that she ate Turon on our way to the Clear Lake but I had a feeling she didn’t like what we bought. Hmmm~
Again, we stayed until sunset. The thing is, it was too windy and the wind was cold. My cap was blown away at some point and I thought it’s going to fall in the water. Good thing it did not. My boyfriend thought I’m going to jump in the water if my cap did fall. I would not, of course. I will just let it drift away and will probably just buy a new one.
Okay, this post is definitely a week late. I will make another entry regarding our weekend trip because apparently, we went to the wrong area LOL. For now, I am having issues with Jetpack, I have no way of contacting them because they only reserve that for those who paid. My web host is no help either—I kept telling that I needed an intermediate chain because I am missing that on my SSL. One tech support told me that she already installed a new one but I checked 4 hours later and nothing changed. Sigh. I don’t know anymore. Anyway, have a good one everyone!
