Busy Day

I kinda had a busy day today. I tried to wake up early to walk but that didn’t happen—as always. I got up around lunchtime and went to my first errand: the pharmacy. The last time I went out to pick up my prescription (that was a month ago), the store didn’t require the customers to pick a basket in order to come in. Obviously, that changed—there’s a sign by the entrance saying: don’t come in without picking up a basket. Since I was just picking up my prescription, it was kind of awkward to carry a basket to the pharmacy and pay for one item. So guess what I did? I walked around, trying to look for something I could buy—anything. I ended up buying toothpaste and Advil which was a dollar more expensive than when you buy to a grocery store. Oh, the regrets I felt afterwards.

Next errand: the grocery store. I went to two different ones. The first store I went to, you need a cart to get in—this is the new normal for every store for weeks now (or duh, when the lockdown started!). I was hoping that I’d be able to find the items I needed in this store. I was wrong. They don’t have pesto sauce! I left without buying anything. I felt bad to the lady cleaning and sanitizing the cart so I apologized. On to the next store I went. Thankfully, they had all the things I needed and I’m proud to say—I walked away from the ice cream section.

Last errand—well, not really an errand. Today’s the love of my life’s birthday (yikes cheesy much!) Since it’s my day off, I decided to cook something for him—way even before he asked me to. I don’t really cook—I don’t like doing it. But of course I know in the near future, I gotta do it. Anyway, while I was preparing the ingredients, I came to realization: No matter how you dislike to do something, you’ll still end up doing it for someone you love. LOL yeah, whatever. I was planning to make a vlog, but I’m messy when it comes to cooking, so I decided not to. As to what food I prepared: I cooked the all time favourite: pesto pasta—because it’s the easiest 🤣 I also made chicken bbq pizza. I didn’t made the dough because I didn’t had the time and it was a lot to do—with the kneading of though and stuff.

The verdict: he ate the pizza and just a tiny bit serving of pasta.

Nah, just kidding! I’m happy enough he ate what I cooked even though it does not taste good LOL. This is why I told him countless of times: he do the cooking, I’ll do the cleaning. Problem should’ve been solved, but no—he wanted me to learn. Sorry love, I think cooking is not for me (bruh, do I have a choice??) Though, my dad actually packed some for his lunch tomorrow. So I guess it was edible enough.

I think this day was the most productive day I’ve ever had since forever. Maybe next time I’ll try to document it, aka “vlog” it. Naks, aspiring youtuber here 🤣 It won’t prolly not going to happen because as always: your girl is too lazy to edit. I can’t even keep up with this blog. Enough of me blabbing. Will write again, soon.

Ciao!
