Planning+Donation Drive Update

I cannot believe it’ll be December next week, sheesuz! I’ve been running out of ideas on what to write and I am losing my drive to jot down anything. Not really losing my drive, more like I am procrastinating. AGAIN.

We have started planning a little bit for our wedding and I realized how expensive everything is LOL. I guess it was just right to not have our wedding next year because we literally need to save. We also tried to list all the possible guests we could invite—we weren’t done yet and the number’s already reached the limit of our projected guests. We’re both like, ‘we’ll try again tomorrow.’ Good news is, we’ve already booked our venue and will be finalizing or we’ll decide if we were going to hire the photographer/videographer that we just talked to last Sunday. So at least we’ve started to “do” something.

What we’re worried for though is the cost of catering. If it’ll be just volunteers to cook for the reception, we know a lot who could do that—but the venue owner made it clear that caterers should be licensed. Catering services are holy freaking expensive—they charge either by plate or by head/people. We both prefer Filipino foods but it might not happen because of this. Sigh. There’s someone that was recommended by a friend, the thing is they live 2 hours away from the venue, so we’re worried that the food might go bad or something. But that catering service is still an option. We’re just looking for more vendors.

As for the donation drive, here’s an update: It was officially closed last Friday, November 21st.

On other note, I just finished watching the k-drama series, Search: WWW. And it is amazing! Though I don’t dig the main couple’s drama. It was dragging. But wow, I wasn’t expecting the plot twist in the end. Well, at first I was confuse whether the drama was supposed to be a Lesbian drama because of some scenes. It felt like a ‘bromance’ but with women involved. I love their acting, and it is my first time seeing Ye Soo-Jung playing a villain role. You might know her as the loving mother in the movie Along with the Gods. Man, I was so surprised with her character in the series. Anyway, it was a 2019 drama. Yes, I tend to watch older series because the new dramas released this year are not done yet. I don’t like waiting every week for new eps—nabibitin ako lol.
