Of course this is a late post, what do you expect from me? LOL Anyway, recap: the screen of my laptop needed to be replaced because of a certain pupper named Bullet. So last week, I made up my mind to go to the city, alone, to get my laptop checked. I almost did until I messaged my girls if they wanted to come as well. I also thought that it’s been a long time since we had a date. But since it’s been a while since I drove in the city, I told them that we’re just going to one place and not go anywhere else. Well, they agreed to it.
The drive on the way was easy peasy. We dropped off my laptop and continued shopping. The price of the screen repair increased my pupper’s value LOL Anyway, I end up buying skin care products since we were already in Sephora. Though, I only stick to what’s in my cart in the app. Didn’t buy anything else because I already spent $$$ for the repair. Then, we decided to go to the outlet and go to this new cake shop. I was like sure, as long as they’ll help me navigate 🤣 It was an easy drive except at the part wherein I hit the curb.
We went home around 7:30 at night and thank God there was no deer trying to cross the road but there were 2 carcasses that we saw going back. We were 20 minutes away in town when we almost had a head on collision with this other car. The good news is, this happened when we were in an 80km/h zone and I was alert enough (even though I was talking with them) to see that the driver was in the middle of the highway trying to go or turn to his left side (my right). But instead of waiting for us to pass, the driver met us in the middle and we were probably an inch away before having collision and the driver was still trying to turn left. I slammed on my break, apologized to my friends, then belatedly honked at him. It was so crazy and scary that we decided to talk about something else to get our minds off of what happened.
Until I got home that night, I was still wondering what the hell happened? I don’t know if the driver was not aware of what he was doing or if he was trying to make an accident on purpose, you know? Despite that, I was really grateful that nothing happened to us that day. We got home safe and probably won’t be able to have another date on the city because of what happened LOL
