Haircut. Curry. Cookies.

Hola amigos/amigas!

Guess it’s been a while and as much as I want to tell you everything that had happened for the past few days, I won’t be able to because: 1) It’ll take long and I know you will not read it anyway 2) I have limited vocabularies 3) I know you don’t really care. LOL. So, I’ll just write what had happened today.

I actually woke up around 10 but decided to go back to sleep and end up waking late this afternoon; 1340 to be exact. I went straight to our kitchen and had instant noodles, boiled egg, a strawberry (yeah just one) and a peach yogurt and was watching Tom and Jerry Meet Sherlock Holmes. As I have a hair appointment at 1500, I had to get a quick shower and waited for my mum (had to borrow the car).

For the haircut: I can’t decide wether to cut it shorter or to keep the same length and just add more layers to it. However, I realized that it is pretty darn hard to get a long hair and it’ll be a waste to cut it short again. Besides, I’ve been keeping short hairstyle for the past two years, and I guess it’s time for me to let it grow again 🙂 My hairstylist (she’s really awesome, mind you), cut my upper layer a little bit shorter than usual and trimmed my bangs and my side swept bangs apparently went back to full bangs. I didn’t like it at first because she had to tease the upper part which made me look like a girl from the 70’s-80’s where mullet was really in/popular. Anyways, after a while I started appreciating it 😀

My haircut :3 Ignore the last photo on the grid lol

Yesterday, I asked my mum to cook chicken curry for dinner. I’ve been craving for it since last week. However, she told me that it can’t be because our dinner’s gonna be fish (I don’t know what kind of fish sorry). Today, though, I didn’t asked her (or my dad) for anything but I got surprised when I saw a package of curry powder sitting at our dinner table. Finally, I’d be able to eat what I’ve been craving for days. It left a smell all over the place LOL, and I guess I don’t have to describe what it smells like, eh? If ever you’ve been to an Indian Restaurant, you’ll know what I’m talking about 🙂

Okay, usually we eat dinner around 1700. It’s Wednesday so I have a math class (will talk about this matter on another entry) at 1800. Stupid me — I thought we ate at 1730, so I actually hurried up and had to ask my friend if she could pick me up. Turned out it’s only fifteen to 1700. Silly me indeed.

After our class which ended pretty early (at 1930), we went to McDonald’s but after sitting there for almost 15 minutes, we decided to go to Dairy Queen for ice cream; which actually ended in me ordering a meal -_- My two friends were planning to go to the gym after so R dropped me off. When I checked my messenger (fb) I had a message from Ate Pau, asking me if I want to come over and eat cookies (cos she baked some), she’d make me tea as well. It’s been a long time since the last time I saw her so I decided to go even if I just got home and was really itching to go online.

She offered me baked cookies that are made of carrots (left overs from the juicer; she said it was a waste so she’d just use it for cookies), oatmeal, apples, a drizzle of sugar, and I think I saw raisins on one. I don’t really eat carrots (I don’t like them tbh), I wasn’t expecting the cookies to be made with carrots (I thought she said oatmeal and banana must’ve misread that part or assumed). I must say though that it was great. While eating her freshly baked carrot cookie she told me about her trip to Honduras; she went there for a medical mission. It’s been her dream, and hearing it from her, I thought it must have been really exciting and fulfilling. Our conversation went from having a hard time communicating with people in Honduras because she can’t hardly speak Spanish and was just trying to insert a tagalog word that only sounds spanish to strike a conversation but failed; to her planning to be an army nurse, about her love-life, our/my plan, insurances, tax and so on. If I didn’t ask what time her work will be tomorrow, I’d probably be staying there longer lol (she works at 730).

Tomorrow, instead of my morning shift, I’d be evening — Hanna switched shifts with me, I don’t really mind because I don’t have to wake up early. I still prefer waking up late though I don’t really like working with a certain person ¬,¬

Anyways, that’s it for today 🙂 Hope you had a great and productive day 🙂
