I have this app on my phone where in an alarm goes off every after two and a half hours to remind you to drink water. Ever since I’ve downloaded the app — I realized that I haven’t drinking enough water for the whole day. We were taught by our parents and teachers (back when we were still kids) that we are supposed to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.
Back then, I wasn’t really paying attention on its importance. For me, 8 glasses of water a day is actually too much; I can’t drink that much. Oh boy I was wrong! You can get lots of healthy benefits just by drinking water. It’ll flush the toxins from your body, it’ll help you with your digestion, will help you with your diet and a whole lot more. But, as much as I want to drink water all the time, I can’t help but opt for sweeter drinks (e.g iced coffee, iced tea, pop drinks) who actually doesn’t want to, right? BUT, I have to challenge myself to drink more water/green tea and less sweetened drinks. I know I can do this — it’s just a matter of willingness 😀
Anyways, I had a great day today. I might’ve just stayed at bed half of my day, but I went out to my friend’s place to watch a very touching movie and ate dinner there as well (though we weren’t really planning too lol) and played Sungka which I missed playing with my cousins back in the Philippines. It was fun indeed. Too bad our trip to Brandon weren’t pushed through because the friend I am supposed to go with didn’t get her mum’s permission lol. They had a fight that’s why 😛 And even though I have to go back to work tomorrow at 6:30am, I still am very thankful I got to rest and de-stressed. I just hope that I’ll feel refreshed when I wake up later (it’s already 12:30AM here :D)
